I spend most of my days roaming around the amazing Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare where I’m lucky enough to be their IT Manager. It’s an amazing charity that looks after, rescues and rehomes a myriad of different animals. You can see more about them here.

Evenings and weekends I’m either being a husband and father, working as an IT Consultant or messing around with tech like 3D printing, smart home or raspberry pi’s.

I started out in IT in the 1990’s as a Novell NetWare engineer and flitted around roles between Engineer / Consultant and in-house managing corporate / small business IT.  in August 2010 I started Kent Computers in Tunbridge Wells which swiftly rebranded to AffinIT as we started to gain traction. In 2019 I decided to downsize AffinIT and took work at Raystede as their IT manager to try to enjoy a less stressful life, it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. Since then I’ve been expanding my skills by starting to learn Python, 3D printing and Smart Home tech to come up with some interesting solutions for Raystede.
